In most states it is mandatory to have some sort of auto insurance coverage. If you don’t follow this law then before you know it your registration on your vehicle will be suspended. You must keep proof of insurance on you at all times. If you were pulled over, you are required to provide it. If you don’t, then you must appear in court and show proof or you will be fined heavily. Appearing in court is not a fun thing to do, be sure you have your proof at all times.

It is your responsibility to be familiar with and in abidance of the laws of your state. Driving, along with having a drivers license, is considered a privilege, not a right.
