Motorbikes adored by some unlikely sources
Let’s start with 2 of the more obvious; actors who have seen famously on a motorbike include Arnold Schwarzenegger and Steve Mcqueen. Along with his stunts and appearances in films such as the great escape, Mcqueen also had a personal interest in motorcycles. He competed in the international six day trial in the 1960′s and apparently amassed several hundred motorbikes throughout his life which the majority were sold in an auction in 1984, 4 years after his death from lung cancer.

Most of these were sold at auction 4 years after his death from lung cancer.
Arnold Schwarzenegger famous for being the terminator popularised a Harley Davidson model in the second film almost making it an iconic image of the big man on a ‘fat boy’.
Not so obvious motorcyclist come in the form of authors and writers, these do not seem to be the bad boy actors tearing around Hollywood on their bikes. Writers like Roald Dahl. Roald Dahl, a hurricane pilot in the Second World War loved his motorbikes; this may come as little surprise to his biggest fans as Dahl keenly mentions motorcycles in his books Boy and Going out.
The royal family also have a line of people who have riding bikes most recently the heir to the throne Prince William. This little tradition runs through the family with King George VI owning a Douglas whilst he was university, though the king never raced himself he loved bikes. Also there are pictures of King Edward with a BMW bike passing thorough customs.
However the accidents that happen on these motorcycles are very clear to see, George Clooney who has had 3 crashes in 20 years of riding claims ‘that isn’t bad odds’. Fellow actor Liam Neeson also had a more serious accident crashing into a tree. The most serious of injuries though has got to be Heather Mills who still bares the scars after losing a leg in her accident.
